A Note of Thanks, Holiday Scheduling, and Good Cheer

A couple of notes as Christmastime draws near. First, thank you. It has been a rather remarkable year of growth, and learning, and relationship building, and I'm humbled and grateful to be so fortunate to throw pottery as a way to make a living. Seriously... thank you.

At the beginning of this next week, I will have my final kiln firing of the season. That means that Friday, December 11th, I will be throwing my final pieces of the year. I am accepting orders from the website up through Midnight, PST, Thursday night December 10th. I will throw all orders then on Friday. And, if there's any time left over, I'll throw a few extra's to put in the site for last minute orders. You can find what's available to order, here.

After wares come out of the kiln I will wrap them and send them off so that all orders will arrive before Christmas.  Then I will be off to Wisconsin to spend the Holidays, and bring in the New Year, with family. 'Tis the season and for me, that means being with family.

Wishing everyone a most joyous Holiday Season.

Kim

What to Expect from your Covet + Ginger Package

Every item from Covet + Ginger is hand-thrown on the potter's wheel and one-of-a-kind. Here is what to expect from your package.

Every piece is meticulously packaged in bubble wrap and nestled in starch, biodegradable packing peanuts. The peanuts dissolve in water, so to dispose, let soak in a sink with hot water-- they will not hurt your drain. They are also compostable.

We gift-wrap all of our packages, but, if you would like to add a Gift Note, please shoot us an email at customerservice@covetandginger.com, or leave us instructions in the "Note" section of check-out.

We ship USPS Priority Mail within 3-5 days of order placement, unless your item is Made-To-Order, in which case, there is a lead time of 3 weeks. Packages are insured and include tracking information.

Please let us know if you are an international shopper! As of right now, we are only set up to ship from our site to customers in the United States, but please send us an email if you are located elsewhere, and we will figure out your shipping and invoice from there.

We hope you love and enjoy your handmade pottery! But, if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, we accept returns within 10 days of delivery.

Thank you so much for your support!

Feature on Design Sponge

Thrilled to announce our feature on Design Sponge yesterday as a part of CLAY:SHOP, a contemporary ceramics collection held at Hey Rooster General Store in Nashville. I am honored to be on that wall with so many amazing potters (and most are women, too!)

All pottery is for sale through Hey Rooster’s website. Take a peek to see what’s left!

Special thanks to Courtney who put on such a fantastic show, and to @hmmessinger for the amazing photographs.
