My first iteration of these mugs came in 2013, inspired by the high desert of Moab, Utah. The ribbed pedestal foot is reminiscent of canyon steppes, and the woodland brown glaze is influenced by the glowing ancient rock formations during my January visits.

Since 2013, these mugs have become a staple in my line, and the carved foot has become a thread seen in multiple vignettes of my work.

Due to the handcrafted process of wheel-thrown ceramics, all pieces will vary from the photograph. Each piece is one-of-a-kind.
