SET A // Terra Cotta Planters

from $8.00

I am eager to offer these terra cotta planters again.

After a few months of use, you’ll notice a natural “patina" develop on the exterior of the planters (the white, chalky look you see in old terra cotta pots). These are mineral deposits from the water and soil that make their way to the exterior surface of your pot due to their porous nature. I personally love this look. It’s rustic, but if you hate it, I would suggest purchasing a stoneware pot, or cleaning the terra cotta pots regularly in a solution of water and vinegar.

COLD WEATHER WARNING: I love having terra cotta planters on my porch in the warmer months, but due to their porous nature, they must be brought indoors when the weather gets below freezing, otherwise, the water inside the planter walls will expand and can crack, break, or chip your pots.

Due to the handcrafted process of thrown ceramics, all pieces will vary from the photograph. Each piece is one-of-a-kind.
